A few days ago I hit the seek button on my car stereo when it was on frequency 103.4 and it didn't go to the next station, it went to like 89.9 and when I hit one of the preset buttons nothing happened. So I removed the face plate, put it back on and it wouldn't do anything but be in demo mode. The only thing I could do is eject the CD, and when I put the cd back in it played but when I tried adjusting the volume that wouldn't work either. I tried pushing the "push-menu" button but it never went to "set" and I have no idea where the reset button is (there is a tiny little hole in the back of the faceplate but when I tried to press it with a ball point pen nothing happened when I put the faceplate back on)

3 This is what worked for me: Power the radio off (hold the power button in top left corner in for several seconds) Remove face plate Hold in reset 10 seconds Press push-menu dial/button 3 or 4 times Insert cd and hit source to switch to tuner before cd starts Not all of these steps may be necessary. I suspect having the power off before the reset button was the important part.

3 I just had that happen to my stereo (same model) The reset button is on the unit, it has a little hole with a blue background. I stuck a pen in and held it in until it made a sound & it did reset but it did not work.
