0 Hello. Are you referring to the remote turn on wire near the power supply/gnd terminals on the amplifier?

0 Ah, you can think of this as a "turn on signal" that tells the amplifier to turn on and it's time to go to work. This is necessary because the amplifier always has battery (normally) applied to the +ve batt terminal. If professionally installed (normal wiring configuration), then the remote wire comes directly from the dash head unit (normally a blue wire, but not always). This way, when you turn the radio on inside the car, the amplifier will turn on with it. Same goes for when you turn off the radio, the amp will power down as well. I hope this help. If not let me know.

0 ok thats helps alot. but on the amp its got 2 places that it can go into n there right next to each other how do i no which one to use?

0 Normally, there are 3 terminals in the group of power connections. 1 is vehicle ground, the other is the battery (positive) connection, and the other is "remote". You mention 2 places.... Does the above help you or is there 2 "remote" terminals?
