Water filling/empty problem...

It seems that the water level float is getting stuck. How do I remove said float and clean it so it slides easily up and down?

0 Found the problem - the bottom of the plunger had somehow gotten off of the switch lever under the machine. Opened switch cover, slid it back on, closed cover. Works just fine now.
