The ManualsOnline team has found the manual for this product! We hope it helps solve your problem. Get the Manual Here
0 First, www.hotwater.com is the mfgs web site... I have the same problem, and I plan on replacing the ignition assembly. With mine, flipping the power on and off gets it to attempt to restart. The flame gets going, then it shuts off in about 1 second. This is because the "sensing rod" isn't sensing the flame, i.e. broken. I'm going to replace that and hopefully that will fix the problem... I have the manual, (a printed copy) that doesn't help a lot. The parts list is at: www.hotwater.com/lit/partslists/psd1288.pdf The part I'm replacing is #183267 Better check to make sure the FPSH-50 260 uses the same part as the earlier models though... the part list is only for the 250 and 251. Mine is the 252.. Phone # on the web site.

0 I know this sounds crazy but believe me it works. first turn off power on the power vent. now open the cover at the bottom by removing the outer cover then a single screw on the inside. look inside you will see the ignighter above it you will see a long thin wire. that is your flame sensor. take a crisp dollar bill yes a $1.00 bill Use it like sand paper and clean this wire. guaranteed to work

0 I had the same issue. I tried your dollar bill idea, actually it was a 20 but work just the same. Took maybe 3 minutes and its working fine.
