0 Make sure power is on. The round pedestal base houses pressure sensitive switches. See blue dot in picture, run your finger over that area, and see if it turns on. I don't know if it's a heat sensor, pressure sensor, or proximity sensor that turns the monitor on. I can't find a manual, but for $99 bucks, it's OK.
