5 Go as if your changing the time but keep hitting the mode till you get the date .. The number in that slot is the year so for this year put 14 and the day will automatically change

4 Hold reset button down until the "seconds" starts blinking. Press the mode button to "scroll" through the different levels such as seconds, minutes month day etc. when you land on the one you want, the hour for example, press the st/stp button to change it to the proper number. Once it is changed to the proper number (note: watch the am setting on the time and make sure you choose the right one). When the number is right press the reset again to go to normal operation or press mode again to go to another setting...such as month, day, minutes, hours etc.. Now, does anyone know how the heck to change the day of the week and what the numbers in that slot represent?

0 TO CHANGE THE DAY OF THE WEEK - When you have held down the "reset" button to enter the "set" mode you will see a two digit number appear in the "day" area of the watch.  This number corresponds to the year ending (17 for 2017).  Just press the mode button to make the number in the "day" area  blink and then press the start/stop button until the correct year appears.   CAUTION if you scroll by the year you'll have to go all the way around to 99 to get back - no reverse!
