I picked up a brinkmann 8000 today really cheap and it seems to work, what I can't understand is that it constantly buzzes and the needle stays all the way to the right on 100.When I put if over a quarter the buzzing goes in and out and the needle fluctuates back and forth between the 80 and the 100...Does anyone know what may be wrong, and that is with the discrimination knob turned down?
