0 I had exactly the same problem & I think I've sorted it today. Mine was really grubby & dusty, so have hoovered it with upholstery brush, blown as much fluff out as possible, then poked more dust out with cottonwool buds, then cleaned up the battery contacts. As far as i can tell, it's ok now - at least its perpetual screech has stopped.
