Question About BRK electronic Smoke Alarm None
Smoke alarm issue...

We heard a loud pop sound on our 86RAC smoke alarm. Realized the sound came from the explosion of the 9 volt back battery. FYI The alarms are connected electrically. I disconnected this alarm. All of the other house alarms have a constant red light. What does this mean? When I connect a new alarm will this change to green ? What alarm do you recommend ?
