Question About BRK electronic Smoke Alarm 4120B
won't fit back into mounts...

I have replaced batteries with good quality ones and chirping stopped but units will no linger stay in the ceiling mounts and just dangle. I have looked at these very carefully but cannot see why they do not click into tabs on ceiling mounts. Units are 10 years old.
