changed ink cartridge and can't get machine to reset and stop near empty messages

0 Try this! put back the first cartridge back in and run it, then put in the new one, that might work. If the replacment is not genuine or not the correct model that is a little different say with different electronic modual (looks like a little electronic chip that can be reset in a refill shop, so you dont have to buy new) with contacts on the casing of the cartridge, that fits a similar model. These little things can make all the difference to working or not!! I had this problem when I used a genuine cartridge from a basic model with out the electronic modual

0 The message, if it flashes and does'nt stop the printer from working, just use it as it wont hurt the printer at all. I the mean time just hunt around other shops armed with a photo on your mobil (Cell) phone for the correct one that you can be given a garentee or working from the sales man plus take the origional cartridge with you!!

0 i'm having trouble receiving faxes. i've checked for ink, paper jams, and even turn device on and off. please help.
