Heat is out in the house. We have a Bryant system (517EN036015) inside the house and a Carrier system outside the house. We had a repairman come yesterday and he replaced the "contactor" on the Bryant system outside (wasn't sure it was the problem but said it was pitted). Heat came back for half the day but we got up this AM and heat was out again. Same repairman wants to "clean the blower and coil" for $515 but believe that is not the problem either. On the phone, he said maybe it's the "transformer" and it looking to replace and charge us for that. Need advice quickly before he comes to the house in 3 hours. thanks, C. Greenwood
