I have a Bryant humidifier model # HUMBBLFP1318 A. The water does not go through the electric control of the humidifier. I don't see any water dripping in the filter. I unscewed the water tube. Water is leaking out before it hits the electric control. What is the problem?

5 When no water goes through in my Bryant HUMBBLFP1318 humidifier, the 4004 - Inline Strainer, located in the inlet side of the solenoid, is clogged. I take off the copper inlet tube and use a metal pick or nail and GENTLY reach inside the solenoid (about 1") to reach the inline strainer. After getting the strainer out, I use a blast of compressed air to blow it clean of sediment. Can see diagram ... http://www.aprilaire.com/themes/aa/en/manuals/AA-Humidifier-Owners.pdf (Bryant & Aprilaire are essentially the same. If this does not clear it up, look at the outlet copper tube and blow clean the 'orifice' which may be clogged. Hope this helps
