Initially develops compression but fails to make up as the unit is used - just makes a feeble noise as of it's struggling to make up; it's as if something is blocking it

0 The problem is that you likely have it plugged into an extension cord and not directly into a electrical outlet. Your extension cord is limiting the amount of amps needed to turn over the pistons. Keep it plugged in directly and you will eliminate 98% of your frustrations.
