Question About Craftsman Portable Generator 580.327180
powerless...

My generator is in new condition and I used it last winter it is stored inside out of the weather and goes outside when we lose power. I'm only getting 5 v a/c from my a/c outlets. Also I noticed that my idle switch didn't seem to make any difference when I used it.

3 you could have a bad voltage regulator or a lost neutral. use a meter to check voltage in the 240 outlet and see what your voltage is. i service generators. email me and i will see if i can help you.N84Christ@verizon.net
