0 The amount of oil that is needed for the pump is 4.6 oz. Just unscrew the socket head bolt with an Allen wrench and tilt the unit till all old oil is out. Then tilt the unit the opposite way and add 4.6 oz of pump oil (30 wt non detergent oil can be substituted for the pump oil) screw in the bolt and tighten. Before undertaking this task make sure all gas is removed from engine and the spark plug cable is removed from the plug. The engine oil is changed the same way. It too calls for 30 wt. non detergent oil. Just fill till the oil level registers full on the engine dipstick.
