I have error code 01, Leak Detector - when water is detected under the tub. I have removed kick plate and there is no water leak. What do I do to further troubleshoot this issue, the user and care manual doesn't give any troubleshooting steps to take, just tells you what the code is.

4 Usually the error code 01 means you backed up water in the unit. First be sure that the drain is clear. Run the garbage disposal and be sure your sinks are draining. I got lucky on a EIDW6105 unit by trying this. All the lights are flashing and it shows error code 01. Push down on two of the buttons and hold (I pushed on the Favorite and Heavy buttons), until the flashing stops (about 8 seconds). The machine now showed an error code 08. Then hit the start button. My washer then cleared and runs normally. Hope this helps, better than a sevice call to clear the code.

4 Owner's Manual says to hold Hi-Temp button for 5-sec to reset after any error code is generated.

3 Buy a different brand of dishwasher. I had this error 01 problem with my Electrolux and after 3 trips that found no water problem and replacing the control board (while under warranty) they replaced the unit. Two years later, I am having the same problem. It is a design flaw. :(

2 The issue with this error E1 has to do with the drain connection to the disposer. The solution would be to connect the diswasher drain directly to thr frain pipe instead of drainin the dishwasher through the disposer. Once you clear the drain, backed up water, and re-connect the drain, the error should disapear, Make sure you turn the electical circuit off when performing any repairs. Safety is crucial.

2 I held the two buttons down for 8 secs and the dishwasher displays SS or 55 not sure what it is trying to tell me. Anyone with suggestions.

2 you should probably call a technician, if you want to pull it out yourself and remove the plastic bottom cover and dry it out it will solve the problem but i dont know how to reset the error code.

2 I had error code 1. Called technician out and 140 dollars later he told me not to put my soapy sponges in the dishwasher to clean. He told me my use of dish soap whether on the dishes or in the sponge created bubbles which would not allow water to drain properly. I stopped this and it never happened again, until today, when I put a soapy sponge in AGAIN! GRRR!

1 My dishwasher is showing the error code 01. I am not able to clear the error code to access the other buttons. I have turned off the circuit breaker hoping this would reset it. Which it did not. I do not have any leaks or a back up in the drain. Any recommendations?

0 Got same trouble I checked and there's no any leak or drain issues. I had a couple try how to reset and found out. You can't reset while the door close. Open the dishwasher door press the hi temp and hold for 5-8 sec. It works. Hope this helpful

0 I had error 01.  Checked underneath...everything dry.  Was able to drain the d/w by hitting cancel and closing, and that worked ok, but would not reset code.  I turned the breaker off overnight, but in the morning the error alarm and code fired right up when I re-applied power.
I made some calls to Electrolux, then to the suggested repair depot in my area, found out it would cost $90 for the first 10 minutes, then $7 for each 5 minutes after, so I decided to do more research.
After looking at suggestions on this site and others, I went to look at the d/w again, and it was back to normal!  Go figure!  Maybe some sensor just needed time to dry out.

0 I keep seeing this advice to press the hi temp button, but that is not helpful for the wave touch models which have no visible buttons when the dishwasher is in error mode. There must be another way to clear the code on the wave touch models but I have not found it. I encountered error code 01 after cleaning the bottom waste collector basket and haven't been able to resolve it in 3 days.  Argh.
