Two nights in a row, in the middle of the night the alarm went off, but there was obviously no smoke or carbon monoxide leak as there wasn't any gas on anywhere and there was no smoke in the house. It went off as soon as I stepped into the hallway, but what caused it? Plus, I can't get the thing apart to replace the battery; there are no directions anywhere. It is also way, way too loud!!!
