0 Hello ljrohan13, I am happy to assist you! Often when a dishwasher does not drain, it is because the drain hose may be clogged or you have a faulty drain pump. First, I recommend cleaning the glass trap that is located in the center of your dishwasher designed to collect pieces of broken straws, bones, glass, etc. The filter can be removed for cleaning by simply grasping the handle and lifting it out. Once you empty the filter, you may wash it with warm soapy water and allow it dry. Then place filter back. However, if you continue to have water left in the sump and your dishwasher is making a grinding noise, then it is recommended that the drain motor be diagnosed. You can locate a certified technician directly through the manufacturer website or in your local directory. Hope this helps!
