0 Good Afternoon qpringle, thank you for your post! I show that your freezer is not a frost-free model and requires a manual defrost. This can be done by removing the drain plug on the inside floor of your freezer by pulling straight out. To access external drain tube on models with a base panel, first remove the two screws from the base panel. Then locate the drain tube near the left center under your freezer. I highly recommend placing a shallow pan under the drain tube to collect the defrost water draining out. Check pan occasionally so water does not overflow. A ½ inch garden hose adaptor can be used to drain your freezer directly into a floor drain. If you model is not equipped with an adapter, one can be purchased at most hardware stores. Once the defrosting and cleaning is completed, replace the drain plug because if the drain is left open, warm air may enter freezer. I hope this information helps to some degree!
