0 Hi amytre2001, thank you for allowing me to assist you! Based on the symptoms you are describing, it appears you are experiencing cooling problems in the Fresh Food compartment. The issue may possibly be related to a faulty damper or thermostat. If you are experiencing heavy formation of ice on the rear panel of the Freezer compartment, behind the lower bins, then your refrigerator may have a defrost issue. Defrost issue in the freezer, typically prevents air circulation into the Fresh Food compartment as well. To best determine if there is a damper issue, place your hand in front of the left rear vent in the Fresh Food Compartment (should feel air blowing through). Otherwise, the damper may be stuck in the close position. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair your refrigerator.
