I have this fridge it seems to go on for a long time had a lot of Ice on the back wall but I have defrosted it now what number should the thermostat go on it goes from 1-7

0 Hello markhawkins75, thanks for your post! From my understanding you are receiving an ice buildup on the back wall of your Frigidaire refrigerator. It is recommended that the temperature should be set to 0°degrees. If you continue seeing an accumulation of ice buildup you could be seeing an issue with an air leak inside of your appliance. I would check the door seal on your appliance, to do that you can use a dollar bill. Place the bill between the body of the freezer and close the door. Pull the dollar out, if it sticks the seal is good, but if the bill comes out easily the gasket needs to be changed. If the seal is good and you still get ice to buildup I would recommend seeking assistance from a professional to diagnose and repair your refrigerator. I hope this is helpful. –Chris
