My 6000 series Gateway laptop requires more money to repair than I am willing to pay for and I cannot get power to it to transfer any information contained. Is there a board i.m. memory, etc that can be removed to use elsewhere before I destroy the computer? Sorry I am so computer illiterate...... Thanks in advance for any information that I may be given....
