Question About GE Trash Compactor GCG1700
GE GCG1700P...

Won't Start because the little rectangular piece that sticks up from the toe kick assembly on the right side and presses against the white button broke off! We bought this in December, 2008. We need the replacement piece.

0 I bought new in 2009 for my lake home (weekends mostly) and this part broke for the 2nd time. This seems to be a very weak part and bad design.
