I'm out of the USA. I'm trying to send a fax. The phone works. I can call out of the country, but I've tried to send a fax and for hours it just says "Busy or No answer." One thing is that the cartridge is out of ink and tells me to replace it. I don't have a replacement right now. But, would this cause the fax machine to act like it's trying to send but not really? I should think the ink is just for incoming faxes or copying. Shouldn't the fax being going out regardless of the state of the ink? What could cause this? It's dialing up and it's redialing every minute, but never getting sent. Please help.
