Question About Hoover Carpet Cleaner SteamVac F5826-900
upholstery tool...

I've used the steam vac for years to clean carpets, but only rarely to clean upholstery, so I don't remember well, and I've lost the manual. I removed the panel from the front of the lower tank, but the pentagon end of the upholstery hose doesn't want to slide down. I just spilled wine on my needlepoint dining room chair. Help!
