1 more specifically, I want to know how the small black and white wire connects to unit near the top by the power switch. I want to run the vacuum using the on/ off switch on the hose. I am only able to operate the unit using the switch on the unit, hence I have to turn the vac on and off by running downstairs and using the switch on the machine itself.
