Question About Hotpoint Clothes Dryer CTD80
No power...

I've checked fuse and socket both are fine, is there a cutout switch? and if so where is it located

0 Check the thermostats - they are under the larger cover at the back (lots of screws) - the one to check initially is the one with the two blue wires - they are the 230V Neutral power leads - if this thermostat is open circuit the machine will be completely dead, same effect as a blown fuse.
