5 My model, circa 1982, had the actual microwave enclosed in a metal housing which was attached to the wall studs with 3 lag bolts. After removing every screw I could get to I couldn't get the thing to budge. I then located two bolts in the cabinet above the oven, one far right and one far left, which I removed. This freed the top of the oven from the enclosure. I then removed the bottom panel which exposed the flourescent light bulb, etc. There is a smaller panel there on the right with a sticker "Service only by licensed professional, blah, blah blah". Behind this panel is a wiring harness that needs to be unhooked. Removing the screw from the panel also freed the bottom of the unit from the housing. The microwave then slid out, and I removed the housing from the wall. Keep in mind I had already removed every screw I could find before I figured it out, so some of those screws might have also been holding the whole assembly together.
