I drive a Hyundai Getz GL Automatic 4cyl 2 door hatchback 1.5 litre engine. Every so often while I'm driving I put my foot down on the accelerator & all of a sudden there is no power & then the car just stops & all I can do is pull over to the side of the road & I put it in park & the car will start again. Also my speedometer doesn't work every time either, it works some days & then it will flick back & forth from zero to the speed I'm doing or just sit on zero. It is very frustrating & now I'm scared to drive the car in case it stops while I'm on the highway. I did take it to a mechanic & he thought it might be the fuel pump/filter as it was surging & then cutting out but he replaced those & gave it a good service but now, 5 months later it's doing it again. I am to worried to drive it now so I'm really hoping someone will be able to help me.
