I used the phone with answering machine for years until the battery stopped holding a charge. I left the base plugged into the wall socket and forgot about it. After 2-3 years it suddenly starting ringing and it took some messages before my current machine could answer. I can't remember how to access the messages; I thought I did, but it doesn't work. Can't find a manual. Can anyone help me? Please! Thank you.
