I am in need of assistance regarding my Icebox Flip Screen DVD/CD,TV,Computer,Video item I purchased three years ago. I noticed a problem developing last year but did not think to question it at the time. My remote control was not working, but I just thought that it needed new batteries. Then, my dvd was not working, but I thought that it just did not play movies that were made a certain way. Recently, the television stopped operating and I decided to call the free customer service number, but when I called they asked my what my model number was and then was told to call another number that was not toll free. I waited for over 45 minutes to speak with a customer service rep. named Less on 5/1/08 at 5:49 p.m., who informed me that my motherboard is faulty. Then, he added that since the item is not under warranty, and it has been discontinued, there was very little help they could offer me. I was very upset because the item cost me over $2000. I asked to speak to some else in charge and he told me that no one was available at them moment, but that he would route my call to a supervisor. He said that a supervisor would contact me within 2-3 business days. I have yet to hear from the supervisor. I checked online an saw that the same item, same model number was being sold for the same price that I paid. Yet, I was informed that this item has be discontinued. 0 I am haveing the same problem and I have only had mine for over a year. i called and the pretty much said there is nothing they can do. I am also paying for this in my mortgage. At the very least I would like to know how to get it fixed. HELPO

0 Just today I tried to turn on my icebox and it just said "Loading" then the screen went blank. I tried turning it off on the back and unplugging, but then when I turned the power on a loud buzzing was coming from the speakers. I would love to know if anyone has found out where to get this item fixed. It was an expensive purchase and even worse I don't know what to replace it with. (Is there anything out there that has a TV,Radio,video, and internet/PC hook up? It seems like fixing this unit may be a lost cause, but then I need to replace it with something, any ideas?

0 I was told the same thing as all of you all were about it being my mother board! And that basically, I was stuck with a non-working, no advice expensive TV! We should try a class-action lawsuit!

0 My Icebox is working again. Had it fixed by the same Icebox dealer that sold me this unit. Motherboard part had to be replaced.
