4 on my under counter model, I washed and cleaned the nickel harvest plate with a solution bought at the appliance store. It cleaned the nickel plate with this acid solution and made it real slippery so the ice would fall off after its cycle. should clean the unit several times a year if residential model. there is a small screw that pushes out the ice (in middle of harvest plate) after its cycle , about 15 min. or so
