my igloo ice maker is saying to fill water when it...

my igloo ice maker is saying to fill water when it is full then it flashes back and forth to fill water to ice tray full . It stops making ice. The ice maker is only 3 years old and has not been used hardly at all. first time to use it this season and this happens.
