I bought the inglis 4400 model top load super capa...

I bought the inglis 4400 model top load super capacity washer used and did not recieve the owners manual. I would like to know if and how I can add liquid fabric softener to my load? I hope that I can add it at the beginning of the wash cycle and I look forward to your help in this matter, Thanks, Shelley.
