How do I stop the fan from going on when the control knob is turned

5 Thanks very much for that info,I did not even know that there was a switch behind that hole.It works. I orderd the burners for that side of the cook top so now when I receive them I just install and the fan will not be activated.Thanks again.Gerry

3 Make sure the burner pan pin goes into the hole at the front of the unit. If it does, then the switch behind the hole might be defective.

0 I don't want the fan to come on all the time on the left side. How can I make that happen?
