How do I turn off the automatic fan when I light a...

How do I turn off the automatic fan when I light a burner. It only does it on the left side of my cooktop. It is a Jenn Air cooktop model # CVG4280B. There was a grill/griddle installed there and we are installing 2 burners instead.
