My Jenn Air DW seal started to shread, so I replac...

My Jenn Air DW seal started to shread, so I replaced it, it leaks. My DW does not have a wire the holds the two end of the seal in place, is it suppose to have one? As far as I know, we never had one.

0 I reset the seal and reran on Quick Wash. It leaked (worse), so I turned off the power. But the water in the tub is not draining. How do I drain the water in the tub?

0 Also, I call it a seal, I believe you call it a gasket. It is a thick rubber piece that is manually wedged in between the unit and edge on both sides and top.
