I have an Allagash that is about 6 years old. I tried getting the pilot lit with not success. I have followed the procedure and I have held the pilot button in for about 4-5 minutes at a time and as soon as I release it the pilot goes out. I have cleaned the pilot area with canned air, hoping that it was dirty with no luck. Is it possible it's the thermocouple ? I have replaced the thermocouple 4 times since I have had it, which from people i've talked to say you should only have to replace that evry six years.any help would be appreciated.
