We are trying to connect comcast adapter to our jv...

We are trying to connect comcast adapter to our jvc TV and we are not connecting there is no picture channels just a light green screen. The tv is new to us and thus far seemed that it only need a lamp. We are able to get the menu and tryed thru manual on line for help. Need your help please.

0 we already saw the manua cannot seem to locate our answers in there this is why we asked you. our comcast box is not listed there. can you help us further?
