Dryer won't turn on...

Dryer won't turn on at all. Light is on inside the drum, but dryer not responding to on off push button.

0 Check the appliance outlet plug both on the dryer and on the wall. If ok plug dryer in and push start button.If still not working try wiggling the on off switch.Sounds to me the on- off switch needs to be replaced.
