Hi. I have an apartment sized trash compactor; don't know the model number, but I hate it because I've never used it and only use it for storage. However, I've never had this issue before. I am now unable to open the door. I press the foot lever to open it and the door won't completely unlatch to open. Am I going to have to take the stupid thing apart? I spent 25 min pulling it from the hole it sits in and still can't figure out how to unjam the door. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thx
