I have K and whisk, which do I use for mixing cheesecakes, and sponges

5 Hi I've had my Kenwood for 37 yrs! & it's still running:0) I always use the whisk for whipping up sponges & pavlovas as it puts a lot of air into the mixture. The K beater I use for any other type of mixing ie cakes/biscuits/pastries. If you are going to make bread or pasta dough which is quite heavy it's best to invest in a dough hook otherwise you'll overwork the K beater!
