The pilot light is lit. The power is on. All breakers are okay. But nothing happens when I turn the thermostat. My volt meter indicates power in the electrical wires, but something apparantly doesn't have power?

0 i just fixed a furnace at a friends place...breaker ok, disconnect switch ok, power ran down into furnace ok, i popped the initial device cover open in the furnace ( think it controls the blower). the connection between the device and the load had come loose...i checked all the other splices, reconnected the load wire, through on the switch and the furnace fired up...check all wiring down to the motor too, make sure no splices have come loose
