We put a DVD in the DVR and the machine automatically goes to "READ" but doesn't seem to be reading the disc. Nothing comes on the screen and none of the buttons on the machine or the remote control work. The only thing we can do is press and hold the "POWER" button to make the machine stop. We don't know how to get the disc out or make the machine stop "reading". Basically the machine is now worthless because it doesn't work at all.
