Question About LG Electronics Refrigerator LRSC26925SW, LSRC26923SW, LRSC26925TT, LSRC26923TT
Need instructions for disassembling dispenser...

LG refrig LRSC26925TT - the ice 'funnel' broke off. I ordered another one, but there was a re-design, so i have to also replace the bracket that the funnel snaps into. I'm not sure how to get to it to replace, either by removing the faceplate on the dispenser, or removing the inside door panel. Would be great if i had an exploded parts view to see how best to go about it.

5 Make sure the switch will turn on and off at the touch of the paddle. Mine stuck initially and kept running. What a mess. While following the instructions above do NOT install the funnel until completely reassembled.

5 I managed to get mine replaced. Remove the front frame around the ice/water dispenser with a small flat screwdriver. The electronics come out with it. There are a 2 wire harnesses I had to unplug, then 2 screws to remove the bracket. You also have to remove the push lever at the back of the dispenser, and the micro switch, and reattach them to the new bracket. I recommend you make note of how things come apart, maybe take pictures just to be sure you assemble and route the wires correctly.

0 I was sent part 3016ja2002m funnel and now appear to need 3210ja0006s frame. How do you remove and install frame.

0 I used a very thin putty knife to get in between the housing and the door and worked my way around. I also had a problem with the switch "sticking" in the on position and what I found was that the hole in the frame that the lever slides into LAST was not large enough so I made it a little bigger by gently drilling out the hole until it swung freely. Easy fix and no more kitchen pool. Good Luck....
