Senseclean DD washer/dryer. There is a small drain hole in the bottom of the gray rubber door seal that no longer drains properly. After each wash, there is a little pool of water that collects there. The lint trap at the bottom of the wahser is clean. Is there a link between water that can be drained from the little water hose by the lint trap and the backed up water in the door seal? I've tried to vacuum out the drain hole and can avoid backed up water for a couple of cycles, but then it backs up again. Thanks, Tina

0 I spent $33 at JustAnswer.com. The expert told me to "Take a small round Object (screwdriver Etc.)..Carefully push it through the holes to clean out...If the problem is just a matter of debris this will clear the hole...If it is a matter of the seal collapsing around the opening..You will have to remove the seal to reposition or replace seal all together..Most of the time using something to clear the hole out works best... 0 I was doubtful so continued to ask questions to understand how the door gasket drain connects to the drain hose behind the bottom kick plate. I ended up chatting with LG (http://www.lg.com/us/support/contact/support-here-to-help.jsp#), getting the service manual from them, looking at the diagrams to understand how to remove the kick plate and then looking up into the interior to see the small hose that leads from the gasket drain to the big drain down to the drain motor.

0 Turns out, just shoving a screwdriver down there didn't quite work. But what did work was shoving a used guitar string, nob end first, down there. I eventually unclipped the little hose from the big hose inside the machine to verify drainage, then reassembled. I haven't done a load yet, but when I pour water into the gasket it no longer pools but drains properly, so I'm hopeful. Hope that is helpful. 0 So I didn't have a guitar string, but I did have a few Q-tips, and a longer zip tie, and a baby's nose bulb syringe. I used the Q-tips a bunch taillights stopped pulling out Gunk, then I used the zip tie in a back-and-forth motion if I went just slightly to the right or left I could feel it drop down to another level, then I use the bulb syringe filled with hot water to push in and then draw back after a few times of doing that the drain now flows really well. I think I will just use that bulb syringe to add bleach down that hole every month or so
