Hello out there, hope someone can help me out a little, it would be much appreciated. I just recently purchased a Lopi 520/96 stove and read in this forum that it is the same as the new Liberty model. Therefore I downloaded the Liberty manual. I noticed the Liberty has a damper, the 520/96 does not and my question is about the absence of fire brick in the ceiling of my stove, is it supposed to have brick in the ceiling also, as does the Liberty? The 520/96 is in great shape, but I want to bring it up to like new condition, it just needs a few cracked brick replaced on the side of the firebox, but wondered about the ceiling brick. I don't see how they would stay if required, may need to purchase additional supports also, as they may be missing. i just don't know, maybe someone can help. Thanks
