The display does NOT alternately flash back and forth from the time of day to the set temp. All my previously owned Lux thermostats did this (including the other Lux thermostat I have in my home that runs my heating.) I'm curious if I installed something incorrectly or if this is simply the correct behavior for this unit? In RUN mode the display shows the time (steady) on the left side and the temp of the room (steady) on the right. Thanks, Marc
