We had this fireplace installed in a regular fireplace with a chimney - never used it, so when we moved we took it with us with the intentions of hooking it up with pipe. We cannot find the pipe for this particular fireplace and when we did find pipe, the dealer said he was not sure that it would work. We were quoted the price of $99 a foot. We need 8 feet of 8 " pipe with the chimney cap - $99 a foot for pipe that may or may not work is too much. Is there any suggestion as to an alternative pipe that would work with this fireplace and anyplace that I could order or pick up in Virginia. I had one company named Radford Chimney Works located in Radford, VA, that said they could get everything for me - even looked the fireplace up, but they will not get back with me. Their price was about $360 total and they said it was for the majestic fireplace. They were listed as a dealer 2 weeks ago, but are no longer on the list. The main company has been no help to me.
